Directions for Use
Follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer of the appliance to be cleaned.
Scrubber dryer: Prepare a solution of 30 g of KW Citric Acid in 0.5 L of water. Pour the solution into the tank and brush. Also clean the suction nozzle and any removable parts of the machine. Repeat if necessary. Finally, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Dishwasher: Add 30 g of KW Citric Acid to the bottom of the empty dishwasher. Run a normal wash cycle at 60°C without pre-washing.
Washing machine: Add 100 g of KW Citric Acid to the drum of the empty washing machine. Run a coloured wash cycle without pre-washing. Repeat the wash using KW Color Natura colour laundry powder.
Coffee maker: Prepare a solution of 25 g of KW Citric Acid in 0.5 L of water. Pour the solution into the water reservoir. Run the solution through the coffee maker. After descaling, rinse by running clean water through the coffee maker 2–3 times.
Electric kettle: Heat 0.5 L of water in the kettle. Dissolve 25 g of KW Citric Acid in the water. Allow the solution to act for approximately 15 minutes. Brush if necessary and empty the kettle. Boil fresh water 2–3 times to thoroughly rinse away any remaining limescale and citric acid.
Note: When descaling an electric kettle, do not boil the citric acid solution.
